Dennis Jones is a powerhouse blues-rock guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter known for his fiery solos, gritty grooves, and commanding stage presence. Based in Los Angeles, Jones has built a career on blending traditional blues roots with the intensity of rock and the soul of R&B. His sound is inspired by legends like Jimi Hendrix, Buddy Guy and Stevie Ray Vaughan, but his music carries a modern edge that keeps audiences on their feet.

His most recent release “About Time” showcases his sharp songwriting and guitar mastery, earning a nomination for Best Blues Rock Album at the 2025 Blues Music Awards.
In 2023 Dennis won the Bobby Rush Blues Entertainer Award at the Jus' Blues Music Awards in Tunica, Mississippi

He also spent three years playing guitar with The Bus Boys (the boys are back in town) and with The Zac Harmon Band, when they won first place in the 2004 Blues Music Awards Competition in Memphis TN. With multiple award-winning albums and tours across North America and Europe, Dennis has earned his place among the elite of contemporary blues musicians.

Backed by a rhythm section that's second to none, Dennis Jones delivers live shows full of energy, emotion, and technical brilliance. Whether he's tearing through a blazing solo or laying into a slow-burning groove, Jones brings a passionate, crowd-pleasing performance every time—making him a must-see

CD/DVD Releases

Since 2003, Dennis has released 8 successful CDs, and a DVD.

All released on his own label, Blue Rock Records. Each and every release has met with rave reviews.

You can hear his music on blues & roots radio stations in the US and around the world.

About Time Reviews

About Time is blues that rocks, full of firey fret work that will no doubt inspire many air guitarists and wanna-be players to march down to the music store and pick up their own axe and start learning. This album not only rocks, it’s inspiring on every level- can’t ask for more than that. John Kereiff - Rock Doctor

Even with his impressive discography, Dennis Jones has never sounded more confident. Each track displays a nimble swagger he has earned over a two-decade plus career. Fans will devour this and newcomers will check back to his older albums to see what they missed. As the man says, it’s “About Time.” Hal Horowitz - Rock & Blues Muse
