DENNIS JONES BAND – Tech & Catering Rider
Professional sound system & crew, 3-way or 4-way (Meyersound, Nexo, 1-Acoustics, d&b, JBL, etc), suited to the size of the venue, with an even coverage for the entire audience area, as well as a house engineer who is knowledgeable about the house system & console.
The stage construction must be stable, even, clean, and dry, per regular security standards.
A. If dates are not fly-in or otherwise scheduled as ‘one-offs,’ then Dennis Jones Band will normally carry all backline (amps/drums).
On club/theater dates, Dennis Jones Band typically is loaded in, and sound checked within an hour.
B. If performance is scheduled as a fly-date, one-off, or otherwise contracted to provide backline, then below are the general requirements for Dennis Jones Band. Please advise if any substitutions.
Dennis Jones Band requires at least 3 monitor mixes on professional grade floor monitors. One wedge/mix for drums, two wedges ea/mixes for guitar and bass guitar.
Professional 5 piece drum kit (DW, Yamaha, etc.), bass drum 22”, two rack and one floor
toms (prefer 10”, 12”, 14”), professional cymbal package (hi hats, ride, two crashes, min),
snare (prefer 14” X 5.5” “standard”); all necessary hardware and tuning key(s), drum heads
must be in good condition and extra drum heads for all drums are required
1 of the following Bass Amps: Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 Head, Aguilar DB 4x10 Cabinet.
SWR - SM 750 Head, SWR Goliath 4x10 Cabinet
2 amps required, any of the following: Fender Vibro King - Fender Blues DeVille 4x10” speakers. The Reverb unit must work on all amps.
WE ARE FLEXIBLE WITH SUBSTITUTIONS, ETC. SO LONG AS THEY ARE COMMUNICATED TO US IN ADVANCE SO THAT WE CAN ADJUST AS NEEDED.
