Johnny Winter, Buddy Guy, and most recently, George Thorogood and Tinsley Ellis...  after opening for these greats, and touring the US, Canada, and Europe for years, Dennis Jones and his band are now HEADLINING! Sizzling hot guitar solos. Smooth and soulful vocals. High-energy stage performance. Backed by a rhythm section that is second to none, this IS Dennis Jones. Check out a live show, and you’ll instantly agree, this band ROCKS the blues like NO other!

On August 3, 2023, at the Jus Blues Awards in Tunica, MS, Dennis received the Bobby Rush Blues Entertainer Award for his Outstanding Musicianship Performing Tradition Blues Music.

Dennis’s feet are firmly rooted in the past, yet his heart and soul are connected to the present. He writes songs that seamlessly blend the best of both worlds, presenting a unique and contemporary style of American Blues and Rock. Dennis has written songs for other notable artists as well. Guitar Shorty and others!

He also spent three years with The Bus Boys (Boys Are Back In Town) and was a member of The Zac Harmon Band, when they won first place in the 2004 Blues Music Awards Competition in Memphis TN.

Dennis Jones he stands as one of the best contemporary blues guitarists and continues to rewrite the history of the blues power-trio, staying very true to his guitar and his reputation as a composer, full of clever and true lyrics.

Rock & Blues Muse Review - By Mike O’Cull

Dennis Jones is an absolute beast of a musician and songwriter and Soft Hard & Loud will claim a space in your rotation after a single listen. Be cool and let it happen.

Graham Clarke - Blues Bytes

Soft Hard & Loud is not a typical release from guitarist Dennis Jones, but it is a natural progression. Jones’ new release still features plenty of his fierce blues rock stylings, but these ten tracks mix in more R&B, soul, and funk that on previous albums……it’s always been there, but a bit more so this time around. The end result is an album that expands his musical scope and diversity
