The new release "Pleasure & Pain" from Blues artist Dennis Jones has something for everyone that enjoys this style of music. This is Dennis' third release on his own label Blue Rock Records. If you've heard the first two CD's you already know you're in for a great musical experience as this CD represents the continuing maturity of Dennis'song writing, guitar playing and musical style. Starting with the swinging sound of "Brand New Day" to the pulsating "Don't Worry About Me" and the jump blues of "I'm Good" there's one thing that ties them all together and that's the Blues. All the songs are original compositions adding to what's already a stable of songs from this exciting artist. With the addition of new bass player Sam Correa, the trio has reached a whole new level and the live shows have been over the top. Check it out for yourself.
